PART-TIME INSTRUCTOR FOR EKG TECHNICIAN CERTIFICATE PROGRAM: (Division of Health Professions) (MCCC/MTA Unit Position) Northern Essex Community College

Duties & Responsibilities: Teach entry-level EKG skills to a diverse student population. The course meets Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings from 8:00 am to 9:50 am, beginning January 25 and ending on May 13, 2010. Note: Course descriptions may be found on NECC’s webpage@www.necc.mass.edu

Qualifications: Certified or registered by a recognized national organization. Previous teaching experience in an EKG technician or medical assisting education program, with knowledge of teaching/learning theory and techniques for a diverse student population required. Demonstrated ability to work as a team member.

Salary: $846 per lecture credit ($56.40 per lecture hour) and $564 per lab credit ($37.60 per lab hour)
