This is a high intermediate level writing course for English language learners. Focus is on the use of high intermediate grammar and vocabulary in writing well-organized paragraphs towards multi-paragraph descriptive, narrative, and opinion essays which include a thesis, body and conclusion. Emphasis is placed on further development of applying the steps of the writing process, responding to level-appropriate readings using quotation, and using self-correction strategies. This course requires work in a computer lab during class.
