Description:

This course provides an overview of page layout, scanning, illustration, and image manipulation on the computer. Industry-standard graphics programs on the Mac are used such as Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop. Through lectures, software demonstrations, and hands-on exercises and projects, students acquire the basic skills and knowledge to use the computer as a design tool. Class meets for two lecture hours and four lab hours per week. Instructional Support Fee applies. Competency met: Humanities (6.0), Technical Literacy (8.0). 3 credits Fall, Spring, Summer
