Students will research common, acute and chronic illnesses and the impact of these illnesses on patients across the lifespan. Students will utilize increasingly complex knowledge, skills & attitudes to provide nursing care to patients experiencing acute and chronic illnesses in various health care settings.Prerequisite: NUR 180, PHM 181. Prerequisite or Corequisite: BIO 229, ENG 101, Corequisite: PHM 271, 3 Lecture Hours; 3 Laboratory Hour; 12 Clinical Hours, Additional Course Fees: NLN Testing $100.00, $200.00 Lab Kit, and $15.00 Malpractice Insurance (Fees are subject to change.)
