Specific topics include GAAP, the accounting transactions, adjusting accounts, merchandise operations, inventories, cash, internal controls, receivables, current and long-term assets and liabilities. The analysis of formal financial statements will be integrated throughout the course. Computer applications, such as spreadsheets, may be included.
