Emphasis is placed on mastery of the steps of the writing process, incorporating advanced grammar and academic vocabulary, responding to advanced academic level readings using quotation, paraphrase and summary, and using self-correction strategies. It includes further development of critical thinking skills in English. This course requires work in a computer lab during class. Any student registered for this class will be co-registered in a linked ENG101. PLEASE NOTE: This course may carry graduation credit in some programs, but it is NOT usually transferable.
