Description:

This advanced course covers the use and application of integrated PC applications software based on the most current version of Microsoft Office. It covers the following applications in detail: Advanced Word Processing, Spreadsheet, Database, Presentation Graphics and Desktop Information Management applications. The course emphasizes Internet applications including on-line collaboration using MS Office. It also stresses integration of the MS Office applications. Microsoft Corporation has approved this course material as courseware for the Microsoft Business Certification (MBC) Program and students may choose to take the MBC Certification Examination(s) upon completion of this course. Prerequisite: Applications/Concepts (CIT110) or IT Problem Solving (CIT113) or Introduction to MS Office (CIT133) or equivalent experience or permission of the department chairperson.
