Topics include data organization, averages and variation; elementary probability; binomial, normal, and t-distributions; estimation and hypothesis testing; and linear correlation and regression. The course meets the General Education requirement for Quantitative Problem Solving. Prerequisite: Grade of C or better in Foundations of Algebra (MAT097) or Pre-Statistics (MAT098) or placement.
