Program Description:

Do you love to write? Are you curious, creative and self-motivated? Then a career as a writer could be for you. By completing the Associate in Liberal Arts: Writing Option, you will gain a solid foundation in writing for various purposes and audiences. The program emphasizes developing your individual style and explores the creative and vocational applications of writing, including creative writing, nonfiction, technical writing, and journalism. Upon completion of the program, you will be prepared to transfer to bachelor degree programs in English, writing, communications, and other liberal arts majors. You may also be prepared for entry-level jobs requiring excellent writing skills.
